A clearing in the grove
From the air it reads like a painting: one perfect green rectangle set into a valley of olive trees that runs all the way down to the sea at Sisi. Before it was a pitch, it was a hillside — which is why the quiet half of this project matters most.
The site had to be cut, filled and retained level into the slope before a single roll of turf arrived. Then the field itself: a properly drained base, the synthetic playing surface with its lines, and the perimeter wall and fencing that hold the ground into the hill.
