A whole village's sports life, on one site

Evgeniki Stadium is not a single pitch — it is a complete sports and recreation park for the village of Avgeniki: a football pitch and a basketball court side by side, a children's playground beside them, and everything that makes a public facility actually work — parking, changing rooms with lockers, and floodlighting across the whole site.

That last part is why the evening aerial above glows: the lighting was designed for the entire complex, so the village's sports day does not end at sunset. Training, matches and playground evenings all run under the same lights.
