Certified turf, switched-on nights

The full-size pitch at Lido was rebuilt around two upgrades that matter to every player on it: a new-generation synthetic turf certified to the FIFA QUALITY programme, and new-technology LED floodlights that turn the ground into a true evening venue.

Certification is the point. FIFA QUALITY turf is tested for ball roll, shock absorption and player safety — it is the difference between a field and a football pitch. Lydakis supplied and installed both the surface and the lighting as one works package.

New-generation synthetic grass, tested and certified under the FIFA QUALITY programme — consistent bounce, true roll, safe falls, season after season.

New-technology LED floodlights

Modern LED masts replace the old lamps: instant-on, uniform light across the pitch, lower running cost — and match nights that look like match nights.
